ISFFH 2014 Selected Films Announced

laurel_wreath_2014The International Student Film Festival Hollywood received entries from 15 countries around the world this year, 63 films were accepted into the 2014 competition. Films have come from  Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Netherlands, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and throughout the USA. The 12th annual International Student Film Festival Hollywood (ISFFH) will take place November 8 – 9, 2014 at the Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood. There will be two days of screenings featuring this year’s accepted films. The festival will culminate with the awards ceremony taking place on Sunday, November 9th where filmmakers will be presented with awards for the best films this year.

The ISFFH would like to extend congratulations to all of the participants; you are the future of this industry!

During the awards ceremony, Actor Jeff Doucette will share his words of wisdom with the filmmakers while being presented with the 2014 ISFFH Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been acting and improvising professionally for over 40 years; in his long career Jeff has made somewhere around 40 films and over two hundred TV appearances.

The festival is open to the public and is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle with filmmakers. After each screening segment, student filmmakers engage in a discussion with the audience, facilitated by industry professionals.
